Squaw Valley USA barely needs an introduction. The 1960 Winter Olympics host provides over 4,000 acres of skiable terrain and is one of Tahoe’s premier skiing destinations. With 34 lifts accessing more than 170 trails on six mountain peaks, including the legendary KT–22, Squaw is in a league all its own. High Camp is the perfect place to relax for lunch and enjoy the view from 8,200 feet or practice your triple-toe-loop at the Olympic Ice Pavilion. When the lifts close make your way to dinner at one of Squaw’s many fine restaurants or enjoy light tapas at Zenbu before warming your blood with an après ski cocktail at Bar One, a valley favorite.
